About this Event
Tern provides venture capital to European IoT companies, with proven technology, a commercial track record and significant cornerstone customers that can be grown substantially over a three to five-year period.
We predominantly invest in software companies which develop commercial IoT security, enablement and analytics solutions for the healthcare and industrial sectors, where safety and regulatory compliance are important market requirements.
Unlike many of our peers, we invest in only a handful of companies in a given period. This means we have the time to be a committed and hands on partner, invariably taking an active position on the Board of our investments.

About investor
Matthew Scherba is a life-long entrepreneur fascinated with creating, building and scaling early-stage technology businesses. For over 25 years he has founded, run, scaled and invested in companies across the Internet of Things (IoT), software, hardware, mobile, AI, machine learning, and blockchain.
Matthew has extensive international experience in managing the full company lifecycle development, from start-up to exit, with a focus on strategy and commercial scale across both the private and public sector markets.
