Skåne Startups’ mission is to help build an inclusive and thriving startup community in southern Sweden. We believe in paying it forward and helping each other; ideals which we live by and are committed to promoting.

We organise Skåne’s largest startup community event Startup Live!, arrange over 200 investor meetings per year — connecting regional startups to investors from around the world, and bring together thousands of entrepreneurial women through our Women In Entrepreneurship community.

🚢 As the captain of the Skåne Startups ship, your key activities will be to:

• Be the voice and face of the Skåne Startups brand both online and offline.
• Be the super connector within the region for all international investors.
• Be the main point of contact with our partners and sponsors.
• Be the lead on Startup Live! Spring 2021; you will be responsible for setting the theme/content for the event as well as planning & execution.
• Be a community builder; arranging startup events and building strong relationships across the startup community.

This is a full-time, parental leave cover, twelve-month contract in Malmö. We have a tentative start date of November but are flexible to adapt for the right person.

🦹 Who you are:

You are someone who reads up on all things startup related in your free time. You have a good understanding of the Skåne startup ecosystem. You know how investor’s minds work and how to provide value to them. You genuinely enjoy spending time with startup founders and discovering ways to help support them on their entrepreneurial journey.

You are someone who has confidence in your abilities to drive the organization’s vision forward while also bringing your own ideas and flare to the table. You love to meet people, talk with people and connect people. You are also a doer who can take your own initiative.
